Yesterday, Lilly Ingalsbee left her home around 3:30pm to visit a local park. By 5:30, when she hadn’t returned home her parents contacted Westminster Police.
The police department immediately initiated a massive search and has been working around the clock to find Lilly. We activated the Jefferson County CART (Child Abduction Response Team), a multi-disciplinary team comprised of law enforcement and partners across Jefferson County. This team is able to provide vast resources and has experience and training in investigating missing children cases.

Ultimately a tip from a citizen provided information which led us to locate Lilly in Unincorporated Jefferson County. Lilly is currently safe and with law enforcement.
