On May, 19, Animal Management Officer (AMO) Wood responded to a call about a dog trapped in a pond at a local golf course. With the water too deep to safely reach, AMO Wood used a leash and towel to carefully lift the pup to safety.
The rescued dog, Luna, was evaluated and safely reunited with her family.
