WESTMINSTER, Colo -- The Westminster Police Department (WPD) proudly continues its tradition of participating in the Police Unity Tour, a 250-mile bicycle ride honoring fallen law enforcement officers across the country.
For the 2025 event, WPD Detective Adam Lanning will ride in memory of Police Officer Evan Dunn of the Golden Police Department, who was killed in the line of duty on November 6, 2024, and Sergeant Nevada Krinkee of the Sheridan Police Department, who was killed in the line of duty on February 13, 2024.
This marks Detective Lanning’s 10th year participating in the tour. We will never forget these officers and those across the country for the sacrifices they made.
The Police Unity Tour is a 3-day bike ride that begins on Saturday, May 10 in Somerset New Jersey and ends on Monday, May 12 once cyclists reach the National Law Enforcement Memorial in Washington, D.C.
