WESTMINSTER, Colo -- On Monday night, WPD officers responded to a theft in progress at a business near 88th Ave and Sheridan Blvd, quickly stopping a getaway attempt in the parking garage.
A high-risk stop led to the arrest of the driver (who was also dealing drugs) and the shoplifting suspect. Officers recovered drugs (methamphetamine, cocaine, fentanyl pills and powder), a gun and a drug dealer ledger. Both individuals were taken to jail.
