Are you interested in learning about the Westminster and Arvada Police Departments and the duties of a police officer? The Teen Police Academy offers direct contact with police instructors through lectures, hands-on experience and demonstrations. Topics include: • SWAT • K-9 • Criminal Law • Police Pursuits • Arrest Control, • Investigations • Patrol Procedures Participants will have the opportunity to open the lines of communication with the police through questions and honest feedback. Requirements: Any student attending high school in the City of Westminster or Arvada or resident of the City of Westminster or Arvada, ages 15-18. Preferred: Valid Colorado Driver’s Permit or License Your school attendance and GPA will be reviewed
