Are you interested in learning about the Westminster Police Department and the duties of a police officer? The Citizens Police Academy offers direct contact with police instructors through lectures, hands-on experience and demonstrations. Topics include; SWAT, K-9, Criminal Law, Police Pursuits, Arrest Control, Investigations and Patrol Procedures. Participants will have the opportunity to open the lines of communication with the police through questions and honest feedback. Classes are held every spring and fall for 11 weeks on Wednesday evenings from 6-9p.m.
