Date – December 29, 2022
Tonight around 8:04pm, Westminster Police responded to a traffic crash involving an SUV and pedestrian in the 9200 block of Winona Street.
An adult female was struck while walking the roadway by an SUV driving eastbound on 92nd Avenue. The pedestrian died at the scene. The adult female driver of the involved SUV remained on scene and is cooperating with officers. At this time drugs/alcohol are not considered factors in the crash.
The identity of the pedestrian will be released by the Adams County Coroner’s Office.
Eastbound 92nd Avenue is closed between Yates Street and Utica Court while this crash is being investigated. Please use 88th Avenue or 104th Avenue as alternative routes.
It should be noted all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
