WESTMINSTER, Colo -- Another late night drug bust!

While on routine patrol at night earlier this month, WPD officers contacted a man riding a bike in the roadway without a red rear light or reflector (a violation of state law).

During the stop, officers discovered the man was in possession of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, several cell phones, debit and credit cards not in his name and more than $5,000 in cash.

He was taken into custody and transported to the Adams County Jail. Not his best night— but a strong find by our officers working to keep our city safe!

It should be noted that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
