WESTMINSTER, Colo -- After 28 years of dedicated service, Detective Ray Padilla is officially retiring!
Detective Padilla began his career in 1997 as a seasonal park ranger at Cherry Creek State Park. The following year, he joined the Summit County Sheriff's Office where he served for five years. In 2003, Detective Padilla joined the WPD family, serving as a patrol officer and member of the Traffic Motor Unit. In 2009, he transitioned to the North Metro Task Force where he worked tirelessly on complex drug investigations leading to tons of arrests and drugs off the streets.
Congratulations, Detective Padilla, and thank you for your time and service! You will be greatly missed!
