WESTMINSTER, Colo --- Congratulations to #WPD Detective Jason Cirbo, the 2025 Employee of the Year, presented by the Westminster Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association!
With 28 years in law enforcement, including 11 as a detective, Detective Cirbo has been pivotal in dismantling organized retail crime rings and holding offenders accountable. In the past year alone, he handled more than 200 cases, most leading to arrests and the recovery of hundreds of thousands of dollars worth in stolen merchandise.
Beyond his work with WPD, Detective Cirbo volunteers with the Colorado Special Olympics program.
Each year, the WCPAAA honors one outstanding department employee and this year, they proudly chose Detective Cirbo. Congratulations, sir! Well-deserved.
