Suspect arrested for suspicion of DUI, careless driving and driving with a revoked license, sitting in the back of a police patrol vehicle.

This individual decided it'd be smart to drive his vehicle around the city while intoxicated. We received a few calls about a possible impaired driver (thank you to those who reported this individual) just before 2 p.m. last week.
WPD officers contacted the 61-year-old driver who smelled heavily of alcohol and was slurring his words. Turns out he also had an active warrant. He was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI, careless driving and driving with a revoked license.
