WESTMINSTER, Colo -- Woahhh, slow down there speedster. One of our WPD traffic officers stopped a 20-year-old driver traveling 116 mph on US 36. The speed limit is 65 mph ... you can do the math.
The driver was cited for speeding, reckless driving, etc. Our goal isn't to ruin anyone’s day, it’s to ensure everyone gets to where they are going safely. Sorry, but there's no need to be going 116 mph. You are putting yourself and everyone else at risk. Slow it down please and thank you!
