WESTMINSTER, Colo -- One man is in custody following an early morning call about a suspicious vehicle.

Around 7 a.m. on April 7,  WPD officers responded to a call about a suspicious vehicle at a parking lot near 76th Ave and Federal Blvd.

They found a man passed out behind the wheel with drug paraphernalia in his lap. A quick wake-up call from officers got him moving (nothing like being arrested to start your day), and he was taken into custody. Further investigation revealed more drugs including cocaine, MDNA pills and Xanax. Oh, and he was also in violation of a protection order.

The 42-year-old man was transported to Adams County Jail on several charges.

It's important to note all persons are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.

BWC of arrest after suspicious vehicle call.
