WESTMINSTER, Colo -- And that's a wrap on this summer's Mowing with Cops: Lawn Enforcement Program!
This group was awesome! Led by our dedicated WPD School Resource Officers and in partnership with Raising Men & Women Lawn Care Service, the program provides free lawn care to residents who need a helping hand.
This summer, we had 9 teens help maintain 80 yards for our residents.
Once volunteers mow 100 yards, they earn their own mower, yard trimmer and leaf blower — provided by 'Raising Men & Raising Women.' This year we celebrated one graduate! This program is all about service and furthering our connections with the youth and the community we serve.
