WESTMINSTER, Colo – WPD is investigating a fatal crash that occurred in north Westminster Friday evening.
Just after 4:30 p.m., on Sept. 18, officers responded to a single-vehicle crash at 120th Ave and Huron St. Preliminary information indicates the driver was traveling northbound on Huron St, crossed into lanes of traffic and collided into a utility pole.
The 68-year-old female driver was transported to the hospital and was later pronounced deceased. She was the sole occupant of the vehicle. No other vehicles were involved, and no other injuries were reported. The scene has been cleared.
Drugs or alcohol are not suspected to have played a factor in the crash.
The deceased driver’s identity will be released by the Adams County Coroner’s Office. Our thoughts go out to the driver’s family and friends as they navigate this difficult time.
