WESTMINSTER, Colo -- On Sept. 22, just before 10:30 a.m., WPD responded to Westminster High School following a report of a threat. The school was placed on secure as a precaution. Officers conducted an extensive search and secured the facility. The report was determined to be unfounded, and all students, faculty, and staff are safe. The secure status since been lifted.
Officers will conduct additional patrols throughout the day as a precaution. WPD is conducting a thorough investigation to identify those responsible for making this false report.
