Early this morning, Westminster Police arrested Seth Fernandez, 24 years old, on the charge of 1St Degree Murder related to this case.
This investigation is still in the early stages, and it is anticipated there will be additional charges.
The arrest and filing of a criminal charge are merely a formal accusation that an individual committed a crime. A defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.

Shooting
This evening, around 10:35pm, Westminster Police responded on a shooting in the parking lot at 8900 Harlan Street
Officers arrived on scene and found an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. The male was transported to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.
A short time later, Westminster Police were notified of an additional adult male, who was also at a local hospital, suffering from a gunshot wound, in critical condition.
The information we have at this time is an argument ensued between multiple adult males in the parking lot, and several males fired guns at each other.
We do not believe there is a danger to the public. We are actively investigating this case and will not be releasing any additional information at this time.
The identity of the male will be released by the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office.
