WESTMINSTER, Colo --- The Westminster Police Department is looking for motivated teens with an interest in law enforcement to join the Police Cadet Program!
The volunteer-based program is designed for youth to explore and gain hands-on experience working within various law enforcement careers to include: Patrol, SWAT, K-9, Traffic, etc. The program is anticipated to start in October 2025.
Requirements:
- Current high school student OR 14 to 20 years-old.
- Maintain 2.0 GPA
- Complete monthly volunteer hours and participate in meetings/trainings
- Participate in ride-alongs
