WESTMINSTER, Colo -- Huge congrats to Officer Fleming!
He recently graduated from the NHTSA Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) School hosted by the Colorado Department of Transportation. The intensive program, one of the most challenging certifications in law enforcement, trains officers to identify drug-impaired driving and testify as expert witnesses in court.
Officer Fleming will now complete field certification and a final examination, before becoming a fully certified Drug Recognition Expert serving with our highly trained Traffic Motor Unit, helping keep Westminster's roads safe!
