WESTMINSTER, Colo -- WPD officers got word of a man (with previous trespass notices) who was still causing issues at several hotels in north Westminster. After coordinating with hotel staff and learning his usual hangout times, officers kept an eye on the area. Sure enough, he turned up that night.
When officers attempted to make contact, he decided to sprint toward I-25 and test his cardio. He made it a respectable distance ... just not far enough. Officers caught up with him and took him into custody.
The 35-year-old was transported to Adams County Jail on 2 active warrants, obstruction and resisting arrest. Hopefully that's the last of his shenanigans. A big thanks to our partners at the Northglenn Police Department for the assistance on this one.
