WESTMINSTER, Colo -- We get it. We're human too.
Last week, on April 8, we received a call about a man walking along I-25. A WPD officer responded and learned the man had run out of gas. He’d walked to a nearby construction site to borrow a gas can, planning to return it.
Our officer gave him a ride back to his vehicle, then followed him to return the gas can, along with a note and some money as thanks.
A little compassion can go a long way.
