WESTMINSTER, Colo -- Our very own WPD Detective Lanning completed the 250-mile Police Unity Tour ride with Team Colorado, cycling in memory of Northglenn PD Detective Paul Gesi (EOW 8/6/25).

The Police Unity Tour is a 3-day bicycle ride honoring fallen law enforcement officers across the country. This year, we started in Virginia and ended at the National Law Enforcement Memorial in Washington, D.C.

This marks Detective Lanning’s 11th year participating in the tour. We're proud to be part of this tradition every year and bring awareness to officers who have fallen in the line of duty.
