WESTMINSTER, Colo -- Officers recently recovered two stolen motorcycles after responding to the area of 80th Ave and Sheridan Blvd.  An individual called police saying he had tracked his stolen motorcycle near the area and provided officers with a description of the suspect. When officers arrived, they saw a man and a woman get on two motorcycles - both were confirmed stolen.

Turns out the man was also carrying a handgun with an active protection order prohibiting him from being in possession of a firearm or consuming alcohol.

Both individuals were taken into custody, and the motorcycles were returned.

It's important to note all persons are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
