WESTMINSTER, Colo -- This week, our Co-Responders joined professionals from across the nation at the National Co-Responder Conference in Dallas, gaining valuable insight into innovative approaches for building and enhancing crisis response programs.
Here in Westminster, our Co-Responder Unit plays a vital role in daily operations. By pairing a mental health specialist with a police officer, the unit responds to behavioral health-related calls for service, connecting individuals in crisis with the resources and support they need.
We are so proud of the work our Co-Responders do every day and their commitment to continually improving the services we provide to our community.
If you or someone you know is experiencing a life-threatening crisis, call 911 and request a Co-Responder. If you would like to speak with a Co-Responder but are not in immediate crisis, please call
