WESTMINSTER, Colo -- During National Forensic Science Week, we want to recognize our incredible forensic science professionals!
The WPD Crime Lab is staffed by four highly trained criminalists. They work behind the scenes collecting, documenting and analyzing evidence to determine how a crime occurred and assist in identifying suspects.
2025 Stats At A Glance:
- 200 crime scenes processed
- 591 items processed for latent fingerprints
- 556 latent fingerprint evaluations
- 4,000 latent fingerprint comparisons
