WESTMINSTER, Colo -- Residents dropped off more than 100 pounds worth of prescription medication on over the weekend for National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. In total, WPD collected 160 pounds worth of unused or unneeded medication from community members, so it can now be safely disposed of.
This event happens bi-annually in partnership with the Drug Enforcement Administration.
