WESTMINSTER, Colo -- Our Animal Management team and City of Westminster Emergency Management teamed up with public safety partners and local pet owners for a hands-on evacuation simulation focused on family and pet disaster preparedness.
The scenario helped us practice how to safely assist animals that may be left behind in an evacuation zone or need extra help during an emergency. After the simulation, we welcomed community members to ask questions and learn more about emergency response.
This is another good reminder to sign up for Lookout Alert and Genasys Protect to stay informed and prepared.
