Westminster & Arvada Police Combinded Teen Academy
Are you interested in learning about the Westminster and Arvada Police Departments and the duties of a police officer? The Teen Police Academy offers direct contact with police instructors through lectures, hands-on experience and demonstrations. Topics include; SWAT, K-9, Criminal Law, Police Pursuits, Arrest Control, Investigations and Patrol Procedures. Participants will have the opportunity to open the lines of communication with the police through questions and honest feedback.
June 5, 2023 - June 9, 2023.
Requirements:
- Any student attending High School in the City of Westminster or City of Arvada
- Resident of City of Westminster or City of Arvada ages 15-18 years old
- Preferred to have valid Colorado Driver’s Permit or Colorado Driver’s License
- Your school attendance and GPA will be reviewed
