Recently officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle near 104th Ave and Sheridan Ave. When WPD officers arrived, they quickly located the vehicle in question which was unoccupied with a gun inside.
Soon after that, a man returned to the vehicle carrying a gas can. He briefly spoke with officers, who determined he had two active warrants and a caution that he may be armed with a handgun.
The man then took off, and the chase was on ... even though he was told several times to stop. Officers quickly caught up to him and took him into custody without incident.
